River can't be shooting blanks. He has a love child out of wedlock. The boy's about six years old now and Sylvia didn't mind the child support he had to allocate from his paycheck for the rest of his life. It's the only right thing to do.
Sylvia went to this doctor in Brooklyn who kept a whole collection of his own sperm in a bank which he proposed to mix with River's. "No way, Dr. Jekyll", Sylvia chose to run and hide.
