A Rewritten New World Order Online
Google is the new chronicler of human history and identity in the web. Each of us can be profiled in a personal dossier which companies can google. Job applicants' backgrounds could be retrieved when their names are googled as a routine measure prior to hiring. A new verb has been invented in the annals of research. Just google it.
God's Creation has been migrated to the net. Everybody starts afresh in a way because online data does not faithfully copy what has been stored offline. Various digressions, nonconformist interpretations, even adulterated editions could compete with originals for primacy in the rankings. Who is the final arbiter? It's the browsers who click. What's funny is that the click is really not a sign of agreement. It could be a click that stayed a few seconds then abandoned the site in dismay after a quick 20 seconds. Whichever way the site rises for good or naught.
The Google masters are the new evangelists and the web is the new bible. God's continuing handiwork of unraveling discoveries to his people in the name of scientific advancement gets impetus in the blazing strides of technology thru the information highway.
