Bad Bananas

Give bananas to a chimp and he will repeat the pleasure of eating them until they're gone. Man delights in eating them too but looks at bananas as sustenance, preserve, decoration, livelihood, or bounty that can be shared with others. So which is the lower life form, man or banana?
