EINSTEIN'S INTERNET
I was talking to an office mate of my son who was a physicist doing IT work. He graduated with a B.S. Physics from U.P. and went on to get immersion in several in-house training programs for computers in his place of work.
I was surprised that Physics was so compatible with the internet. More awed when I learned from him that the principle of cyberspace was first discovered by a scientist. It sprang from the research on collision of atoms and the ensuing diffusion of electrons.
Kinda mind boggling, don't you think. The Yahoo and the Google we know in everyday life are actually distant cousins of the atomic bomb.
