In 1946 America got Manuel Roxas elected first President of the emerging republic and pushed us to the top of the Asian economic totem. Left alone, we shot ourselves on the right foot and quickly spiraled to the bottom like a rock. Now with China and Japan looming to weld, it is in the best national interest of America to once again do the same for a rising and worthy grandson. So save your useless blood money for the campaign of 2010. The die is cast. The empire strikes back.
